The School

• Bournemouth One to One is a small school which specialises in Business and General English language courses for individuals or small groups of clients.

• We provide the best English language training service in comfortable surroundings where clients can make maximum progress.

• We have a maximum of 4 clients on One to One courses.

• There are more teachers than clients: this allows us to give each client a very personalised service. 

• The school is run from our own home which gives clients a very comfortable environment for learning.

What we provide

Total Immersion Course: 100% English, 100% of the time

At Bournemouth One to One you are speaking, listening to and interacting in English:

• in the classroom in a One to One situation

• at break and lunchtimes with Director and staff in a group situation

• on weekend & evening excursions with Director and staff

Practise your English in social situations with your host family and be included in their activities such as excursions and sports.

What is included in the course fees?

The Course

• All registration and tuition fees

• All testing and assessment

• All course materials, including grammar notes

We provide a unique ‘After Sales Service’.  The Director will continue to advise you through emails and telephone calls on how to maintain your level of English on your return home

At the School

• Refreshments and lunches Monday to Friday - coffee/tea breaks and lunches are taken with the Director and members of staff

• Local town and bus maps

• Access to newspapers, journals, books, internet & Wi-Fi.

Additional activities

• Half day excursion + Sunday lunch (on clients’ first Sunday in Bournemouth) with the Director, followed by the test at the school; extra contact time in English on Sunday is normally from 11.30 to 18.00 hours

• Mid weekend excursion + lunch with the Director (when clients follow a 2 or more week course)

• Visit to the bookshop + coffee in the town centre with the Director

• An evening visit to the cinema, the theatre or one of the hotels (for a glass of wine, coffee and conversation) overlooking the sea depending on clients’ interests

The Teachers

Two week course recommended

We recommend a minimum of two weeks with us in order to best improve your English.

When do courses start?

Courses start every week and are run throughout the whole year.  Clients can choose their own start and finish dates for their individual course, including mid-week to mid-week if preferred.

Who are the main potential users of the service?

Bournemouth One to One is for people who prefer an individually planned and totally personalised course instead of a pre-set course with other students.  We specialise in improving the standard of clients who can already speak English but we also teach everyone from absolute beginners to advanced level, including teachers of English.

Accommodation

We can arrange accommodation for clients – host family, hotel or residential at the school.  However, we strongly recommend host family accommodation.  This is at separate cost and includes:-

• Accommodation with an executive host family

• Meals with the family

• Your own room, with study facilities

• En-suite or your own bathroom

• Inclusion in the family’s social activities.

• Accommodation photos and profiles of host families are available on request.
