A general English course:consolidates your existing knowledge improves your fluency and accuracy increases your awareness of the grammatical structures at your particular level introduces new grammatical structures extends your range of vocabulary improves your reading and writing skills improves your listening and speaking skills and makes you aware of the nuances of the language
Business English CourseA Business English course is suitable for clients from pre-intermediate to advanced level. (We do not recommend Business English for complete beginners). A Business English Course can be designed specifically for each client. It includes items such as: Business terminology Language for negotiations Language for meetings Language for presentations Language for marketing and finance
It will also include components from the General English Course. Exam Revision CourseAn Exam Revision Course is aimed at giving you practice in the techniques needed to pass the exam. You will be using past exam papers. An Exam Revision Course: improves your existing knowledge of English familiarizes you with the relevant exam techniques and gives you practice in them enables you to deal with speaking, listening, reading and writing tasks at the appropriate exam level

Clients can be prepared for examinations. It may be useful for clients to be able to demonstrate their achievements in learning English by taking home an internationally recognised certificate. Bournemouth One to One can arrange for clients to study for the following Cambridge examinations: | Key English Test (KET) | | Preliminary English Test (PET) | | First Certificate Exam (FCE) | | Cambridge Advanced Exam (CAE) | | Cambridge Proficiency Exam (CPE) |

Note: The dates for exams are determined by the exam authorities. Clients wishing to take exams in Bournemouth will need to arrange this several months in advance! TestingAll clients will be asked to send us information about themselves before they come to England, in order for us to assess their language needs. Clients will be given a more detailed grammatical and listening test on the Sunday before starting school, to help us assess their level of English. |
